What's the catch?

We know this seems too good to be true. We hear it all the time. Our mission is to make homes more affordable. Sales commission makes up a small, yet sizable portion of your purchase, that’s what we give back to you.

We’ve found cheaper builders than what’s on abodable.

No hidden costs. That’s our policy. We don’t refer to people who do half finished products or sneaky upsells after you’ve paid a deposit. Everything listed on abodable is fully finished unless otherwise stated. This includes the turf, the driveway etc. Although this might seem a touch more expensive, it’s actually cheaper in the long run

How does abodable make money?

We keep a reduced commission from each property. We give back the majority of the commission, operate our business lean & efficient so you can benefit.

Is it only new property?

Yes. We only work with new property.

The Rebate

Can I use the rebate as a deposit?

If this is your first home, absolutely. You won’t be able to use 100% of the commission as your deposit. Feel free to use the calculator on the property listing to determine how much you can use.

Is the price inflated to include the rebate?

No, we choose to opt out of artificial inflation. In most properties, theres margin from efficiencies. This margin is used as the sales commission which we give back to you.

What are the costs to use the rebate as deposit?

You can't use 100% of the amount towards your deposit as there are a external fees. The final amount you can use depends on settlement date, type of property and how much other savings you may have.

Inclusive of the fees, in most cases you're still better off than paying the LMI.

How much will my rebate be?

The rebate will be displayed on each property like the tick below. You need to be logged in to see the amount you get back.

When will I receive the rebate?

If you don’t use the rebate as your deposit, you'll receive your rebate within 7 days of settlement.

Where does the rebate come from?

The rebate comes from Abodable. This would've been our commission. However we pass this on to you, to make your home more affordable.

What restrictions are there?

None, any property you find on abodable, is eligible for the rebate. It doesn’t matter if this is your first home or 30th home. As long as you buy it from abodable, you're eligible for it.


Will you be adding more properties to the website?

Yep! New listings are getting added all the time.

What if there are no properties available in my area?

We're constantly growing based on areas of demand. If you're looking for a particular development or package, fill out this form and we will work with local developers to get it listed.


Do I need pre-approval before finding a property?

You don't, however if you do the process will be faster.

What if I don't have finance yet?

If you haven't been approved for finance, we suggest getting in touch with a local bank or broker in your area.

What will my repayments be?

Repayments will be determined by a number of factors such as: deposit, interest rate, rebate amount and more. We can give you a rough repayment amount however we recommend talking with one of the finance specialists at to workout an exact amount.
